Responsible Gambling

We want playing at Ritzo Casino to remain a form of entertainment. If it stops feeling that way, we offer tools that let you track your time, take a break or exclude yourself from your account, and we point you to independent organisations that specialise in gambling-related help. This page explains what is available and how to use it.

Staying in Control

Gambling should fit within the time and money you can comfortably set aside for it. We encourage you to treat it as paid entertainment, not a way to earn income, and to decide in advance how long you will play and what you are prepared to spend. If you are unsure whether your play is still under control, our self-assessment questionnaire of 20 questions can help you reflect on your habits. It is available on our responsible gambling page.

Our Player Protection Tools

The following tools are available in your Ritzo Casino account.

  • Reality Check: in My Account, then Settings, you can choose a session reminder of 60, 90 or 180 minutes and confirm your choice. An on-screen reminder then reports how long you have been playing. It does not interrupt your session.
  • Take a break: you can temporarily suspend your account for at least 24 hours. During the break your account is view-only and its functions are disabled, and it cannot be reactivated before the break expires. Pending cashouts are canceled back to your balance, and you can request them again once the break ends. You will receive confirmation and end emails, and the account reactivates automatically.
  • Optional two-factor authentication can be activated under My Account, then Profile, to add a layer of security to your account.

Self-Exclusion and Account Closure

If you want to stop playing with us indefinitely, you can request self-exclusion by emailing [email protected]. Once self-exclusion is in place, login, deposits, withdrawals and play are blocked. You can also ask us to close your account by emailing [email protected] and stating your reason. Closure requests sent through chat are not actioned, so please use email. Closure requires that your account has no balance and no pending withdrawals. If you close your account because of a gambling addiction, you are not permitted to open new accounts with us or to play at our licensed partner sites.

Recognising the Warning Signs

It can be hard to notice when gambling stops being entertainment. Honest answers to the following questions can help you decide whether to use our tools or seek support.

  • Do you spend more time or money on gambling than you planned?
  • Do you return to play in an attempt to win back losses?
  • Do you hide your gambling from family or friends?
  • Have you borrowed money or sold belongings to fund your play?
  • Does gambling interfere with your work, studies or relationships?
  • Do you feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down?

Getting Help

If gambling is causing problems for you or someone close to you, independent help is available. The following organisations offer confidential advice and support, and their websites include self-help resources and ways to speak with a trained adviser. If you share a device with others, blocking and parental control software such as GamBlock, BetBlocker, GamBan, CyberPatrol and Net Nanny can restrict access to gambling sites.

Underage Gambling

You must be at least 18 years old to open an account with us, and you must also have reached the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction. We verify date of birth and may request identity documents to confirm your age. Accounts found to belong to underage users will be closed. If you share your device with minors, we recommend using parental control tools such as CyberPatrol or Net Nanny, keeping your login details private and never leaving your account logged in unattended.
